Trinity or Corona for easier iXtreme flashing?
Hello,
I have the option of buying either a used Trinity xbox 360 slim or a Corona or some random one for which I don't know the motherboard, which one should I get for easier flashing?
I think the Corona needs to be JTAG'ed first to get the keys before flashing it, am I right?
Also, You can insert the Corona drive in an already JTAG'ed console to get the keys, right?
The thing is I'm not going to do the flashing, instead I'll send it to a local modding shop, they claim to know how to do JTAG and iXtreme for various xbox 360 versions and drives.
So, if I do get the Corona, they technically should be able to flash it without JTAGing my motherboard? Or at least they can reverse it afterwards? because I want to be able to access xbox live

Help with flashing DVD Key/Drive
Hey I am trying to reset my DVD Key and I can't use JungleFlasher like the guy in the video I'm watching because I'm on a Mac and Wine won't open JungleFlasher so is there any other program I can use that is the same as JungleFlasher but I can use on a Mac?

Need some help please with a new 360 disc drive install.

Its been a while since I have done anything xbox related tbh but anyway I shall explain my problem.
One of my xbox360 disc drives packed up so I had a spare, brand new disc drive out of the box (has been in storage for along time now) and I have got the key.bin/dummy.bin for it, its been all set up properly by myself when I first purchased the new disc drive. So I connected the new drive in the 360 put the 360 back together along with the Blaster CK3 kit on top I plugged the 360 back in, powered it up and this is my issue, it runs DVD Films fine but when you put a back up disc in, it goes to play and returns back to the main menu asap also when you put an original disc in the drive you just see an xbox360 logo on the screen. I have tried to run Jungle Flasher again installing the lite-on custom firmware to it but its still the same. I updated it but still the same so please if anyone can help me out or has had this happen to them in the past can you please let me know so I can hopefully correct it, thank you.

BenQ Flashed (disk runs at high speed and doesnt read!)

My previous Xbox with BenQ drive died, and I have another xbox with Hitachi drive, I extracted both drives keys and attempted to swap. The BenQ drive is acting quite weird; as soon as I insert a game disc (genuine or backup), the drive spins quite fast and loud! then it shows nothing! even when I eject the drive the disc comes out sniping! I knew something is very wrong, I first let Jungle Flasher to select the target firmware and I manually spoofed the drive key, then I selected the "LTPlus-0442-v3.0.bin" but sadly its the same exact behavior.
The reason I need a BenQ drive is some apps dont work on Xell on Hitachi drive :C

DG-16D4S (0225) Unlocked PCB, no donor drive
Hello. I have an UNLOCKED DG-16D4S and an older JTAG/RGH Slim 250gb Xbox 360. This is not the Original Drive from the Xbox 360, however.
I have run XELL, and have the DVD Key from the original drive. I have used Jungle Flasher to attempt to put the DVD Key manually spoofed into the Target Firmware.
However, when connected to the JTAG/RGH Xbox 360, the DVD Drive shows video DVD in the dashboard when loading an ORIGINAL title. I have not tried any of my original-backups.
Does anybody know what I need to get the Xbox360 to recognize original disks in the drive? Did I need to SPI 0x00 lock the drive before the console will recognize? I don't want to lock the unlocked drive, yet, as it may be a permanent lock with the drive that is currently unlocked (no soldering, etc. skill to unlock drive myself).

Infinity 3 & figures
Hi all
I have Infinity 3 installed on my HD and got a few new figures but when I try to use them it says I need a game update.
I have the latest dash and xbox updates but I think it's a game update thats needed.
I checked for updates from within Eurora for that game but nothing.
Any help on getting this to work.

Drive: LiteOn 83850C v2 LT? flashed (i have the drive key)
here's my situation: it's been a long time since i even touched this console, so i'm missing details like LT firmware version. i do have the original drive key from way back in the day.
Jungleflasher recognizes the drive with F/W rev 8385 instead of 02510c, so I assume that in the past, this drive was flashed with 8385 fw instead of 02510c after its last dash update.
Anyway, the console is able to play backups prior to AP2.5/XGD3, so no worries here, but i want to update its dash and drive firmware to the latest versions, so i can try playing backups with AP2.5/XGD3 (i am aware that the backups need to be patched), but i'm having some trouble figuring out the course of action, and this is where i need you help; do i flash this drive to stock post 13141 orig-02510C-1c000.bin, and if so, because this firmware and the original dump don't match in terms of serial data\etc., do i just select my original dump as source and orig-02510C-1c000.bin as target then hit spoof source and proceed with the standard flash procedure, after which i then can safely update the system dash, and then update the drive's firmware to LT+3.0?

Error 66 and Spoofed Drives
I took my used 360 to a modder to update the drive firmware and the Dashboard.
When I got home, all XGD2 games work and not XGD3; it reports an E66 error code when I put an XGD3 game inside. It was discovered by the modder that the drive was replaced from the LiteOn to a Hitachi and was spoofed before I bought it.
Will the solution be to buy the original model and swap it with spoofed drive that I have right now, or am I dreaming that the scenario would be this simple?

I have connected the console to the internet in wi fi..e I did the update !!
then I put a dvd game backup that had given me the seller, and it worked !!
so I am reading the net I read that surely I have the LT3 !!

[HELP] ABGX verified but shows unrecognized disc on xbox
Long story short, was trying to create a backup for NHL Legacy. Checked the iso before burn and also the burned disc using abgx everything goes well no error founds. Put the disc on to my xbox but it shows the unrecognized disc. Questions:
1. Will I get flagged or banned if I go online after the disc show unrecognized error?
2. ABGX patched the topology data, is this the cause of error? is abgx still reliable these days?
3. Any workaround this problem

Xbox 360 with DG16D4S
Hi, I have an old flashed (I'm assuming) xbox 360 with a DG16D4S Liteon and MXIC chip. Dashboard is 2.0.12416.0. I don't have the original key of the dvd drive. It also doesn't have a hard drive, but I've just put a usb stick and it is now being used as storage device.
I am only wondering what can be done now? Can it actually play backups if I make a copy from my original disks? There is so much info online and it is quite confusing. What exactly do I need to learn now to make it work and should I update the firmware/dashboard?

Replacing Drive In Xbox Slim, Play DVD error after reboot!
Hi
I have a slim 360 , On latest xbox update, the original drive inside is a DG-16D4S, Firmware 0225.
I bought a DG-16D4S firmware 9504 unlocked replacement, although jungle flasher (0.1.96-Beta 323) says its an 0272, spi status is however unlocked 0x00.
I have got the keys off the existing drive using x360usb pro 2, new drive goes in to vendor mode and lets me write the new firmware LTPlus-0225-v3.0.bin no problem.
Plays originals and backups fine, but after switching the xbox off and on again it never reads the game in the drive always comes up as play dvd. If i insert the disc after its booted it plays as it should.
Somethings wrong somewhere, has anyone any ideas that can assist me, I have not locked the spi at this stage so dont know if this could be affecting it, if its not this and i lock it then the drives toast as i am unable to kamakazi or solder due to poor eyesight.
This is the second DG-16D4S firmware 9504 unlocked drive i have got for this box, the first one done the same play dvd issue but was very slow to spin up and load games/copy to the hardrive. Taking 3 minutes longer than stock for the same game to copy to HDD.

I have a slim 360 , On latest xbox update, the original drive inside is a DG-16D4S, Firmware 0225.
I bought a DG-16D4S firmware 9504 unlocked replacement, although jungle flasher (0.1.96-Beta 323) says its an 0272, spi status is however unlocked 0x00.
I have got the keys off the existing drive using x360usb pro 2, new drive goes in to vendor mode and lets me write the new firmware LTPlus-0225-v3.0.bin no problem.

Profile gone, Safe to recover online?

Ive had my phat Xbox for a while now and it has had a flashed drive for some time LT 3.0 I think.
Out of nowhere my gamertag has been deleted, so I'm thinking if I connect to the internet and log in again I can save all of my save games etc, but will this just instantly banned me if It asks me to update the dashboard?

High temperature on EDRAM
I have a xbox 360 console for past 2 years it was running completely fine until now something odd has Started happening the fan speeds are up and at maximum speed . Then i noticed that my edram temperature is too high above 77°C while all other are below 50°C . This happens everytime i boot the fan speed is up at full speed after 5 sec of the boot
